Sizzle: One of the largest commercial real estate companies in the Chicago land area Company prides itself on promoting people from within, wants employees to continue to feel the satisfaction that comes with personal growth Offers competitive salaries and a benefits package that includes medical, dental, vision and life insurance, a tuition reimbursement plan, a 401K program, and flexible spending accounts Great work life balance Causal Fridays in the office (jeans) Top Responsibilities: Prepare/review year-end audit and work with internal tax preparer on tax returns for multiple properties/investments Perform/review period-end close and reporting process Maintain fixed assets software and related journal entries Prepare/review financial statements Work with multiple operators on general accounting and financial reports for our investments Prepare journal entries for significant transactions such as acquisitions, dispositions and financings Maintain accounting on multiple 1031 exchange properties Develop business models for future and past investments. Analyze a wide-ranging variety of real estate and other investments Management of owner capital accounts including contributions and distributions Review and assist with budget preparation Experience Preferred: Bachelors is Accounting 5+ years of real estate accounting experience Knowledge of Sage 300/Timberline software is a plus
