Group Controller

Job Description Growing manufacturing company is seeking a Controller. Why Take the Role: Company is growing like crazy, even during Covid! High visibility - ability to make a difference/have an impact Collaboration with VP and CFO on special projects Company is financially sound Assist with acquisitions Great team Primary Responsibilities of the Controller: Oversee and prepare financial reporting, including consolidations of subsidiaries Work closely with controllers at subsidiary companies to ensure financials are on time Oversee month end close, on corporate level as well Manage a small team Point person on audits Assist with annual budgets, and updating monthly forecasts Technical accounting- especially as it related to acquisitions Assist with treasury, fp&a, etc Adhoc projects Specific requirements for the Controller include: B.S. or B.A. in Accounting CPA 10+ years relevant experience Public accounting experience preferred Corporate accounting experience required, working as an accounting leader at mid-size company (manufacturing preferred) Strong oral and written communication skills Strong technical accounting background
