Basic Functions: The Testing Analyst will work directly with Division personnel and the Nucor NBT Team to drive project initiatives as it relates to the NextGen implementation, as well as other NBT initiatives. Responsibilities for this position include but are not limited to collaborative Test planning in conjunction with our NBT, Division and Partner Teams; perform Testing activities for Oracle EBS and related manufacturing systems; scheduling Test execution; analyzing Test results, generating Test scripts and Performance Testing. Safety is the most important part of all jobs within Nucor; therefore, candidates must be able to demonstrate the ability to initiate, lead, and uphold safety policies, practices, procedures, and housekeeping standards at all times. Minimum Qualifications: Four-year degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Business, or other related field; OR 4 years of experience with a manufacturing company Preferred Qualifications: Experience in analysis and problem solving in an operational environment Initiative to drive for timely results and work effectively with minimum supervision Demonstrated communication skills, both oral and written Experience working effectively with users in remote locations Ability to work in fast paced, high-pressure environment; meet deadlines, manage and prioritize multiple tasks; and demonstrate a high level of organization Improve consistency and compliance through training, documentation, and system development Team Oriented; experience building relationships to achieve positive results Experience working with Oracle EBS and/or similar ERP experience Software and/or system testing experience Automation Testing Experience Experience in one or more of the following functional areas: Information Technology Commercial, Purchasing Finance Planning and Scheduling Production Execution Quality, Maintenance Shipping or Logistics
