Cost Accounting Manager

Very exciting time to be a part of the company Young, energetic, and driven team Great opportunity to make an impact, high visibility Job Responsibilities Managing cost accounting (PPV, Labor Reporting, Physical Inventory) Support general accounting functions that include journal entries, inventory analysis, monthly obsolesce review/reserve, monthly cycle accounting Lead a small team Manage day-to-day operations of the cost accounting and projects accounting systems, processes and procedures. Help implement new accounting modules Be a key leader of change in the organization and demonstrate continuous improvement of operations. Develop metrics and tracking system for major cost drivers. Perform various month-end closing procedures and assistance with annual external financial audit. Specific requirements for this position include: Bachelor''s Degree in Accounting or Finance CPA preferred 5+ years of experience Savvy with systems, large ERP required (SAP preferred)
