Driver - NonDOT * $1,000 Hiring Bonus

JOB SUMMARY The Driver position will be responsible for, but not limited to, material pick up, cement waste removal, and cement scrap delivery when needed. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: Comply with Boral Safety Policies and Procedures Will wear assigned PPE in order to safely perform all job tasks Will wear steel-toed boot for the duration of work shift Will maintain a professional and positive attitude at all times Will report any and all injuries to respective supervisor(s) Will maintain cleanliness in all vehicles and/or machinery being used to perform job Will attend company sponsored training when necessary Will be trained on the front-end loader, forklift and uni-loader Will be responsible for performing maintenance checks on all equipment being used at the beginning of every shift Will be responsible for reporting maintenance issues on all equipment used Will check in with purchasing coordinator for daily pick up inquiries Must turn in all packing slips to appropriate personnel upon arrival back to plant Will act as back up for sweeping and/or plowing all paved areas with uni-loader Will act as back up for loading scrap truck with cement waste Will act as back up for loading all aggregate bins for production Will assist as a guide, when permitted, in backing in truck drivers delivering raw materials Will act as back up for removing sludge from waste pit with the front-end loader and maintaining surrounding areas Will act as back up for maintaining propane, aggregate bins (inside and outside) and silo areas Will be responsible for communicating with appropriate personnel regarding all issues pertaining to this position Will represent Boral with a professional attitude being careful not to engage in a negative conversation with vendors and/or customers Performs other duties as assigned or needed Regular attendance, timeliness and scheduling flexibility
