Leidos is focused on finding the best people, processes, and tools that will provide solutions in data integration and fusion, data analytics, data mining, predictive analytics, data visualization, and decision support tools.Primary ResponsibilitiesDesign, develop and maintain mission-critical software in support of missile defense systemsParticipate in sprint and increment testing to validate softwareDocument and communicate proposed software solutions with integrated, cross-functional engineering teams in a fast paced highly technical environmentStay up-to-date on state-of-the-art programming techniques and software technologiesParticipate in software design and code reviews to ensure delivery of quality products and enhance skill setsAbility to create software solutions from established industry standardsWork with System Engineering Team to schedule, synchronize and execute demonstration capabilities to customersWork with third-party contractors and stakeholders on any potential regression coding due to deployment delaysBasic Qualifications:Bachelor''s with two (2) years of experience; additional years of directly applicable experience may be accepted in lieu of a degreeExperience in coding C++ and Java scripts, runtime and web logicCurrently possess a Secret clearanceExperience with missile warning and missile warning defenseUnderstanding of missile warning message typesAbility to work independently and as part of an engineering teamAbility to work on multiple projects and tasks simultaneouslyAbility to convey technical ideas in a clear, logical fashionAbility to translate highly technical discussions into executable plansPreferred QualificationsMaster''s degree in associated fieldExperience with the Agile software development process IAW USG defined requirementsExperience with MatLabPast experience in Command and Control Battle Management and Communications (C2BMC), Global Data Integration (GDI), or other key missile defense programs or areasPay Range:Pay Range $54,600.00 - $84,000.00 - $113,400.00
