There is an opening for a SNF Nurse to join an accredited acute care facility in Northern California in the suburbs outside of San Francisco. This 150+ bed hospital is well known for their quality patient care, and strong group of medical professionals. The SNF Nurse will be stationed in a fast moving, high-case volume floor being one of the highest needs in the nursing field. They will report directly up to the Director of Nursing as well as the CNO at certain times assisting all patients needs from pneumonia to traumatic brain injuries (CHF). It is important to note that this nurse must be ready to be on their feet in these pressing times and express compassion with each and every patient. Working alongside 45+ other nurses, communication and completing tasks in a timely manner is extremely important. This team considers each other family, and will always have each others back!Responsibilities of SNF Nurse may vary, but will include;Monitoring each patients vital signsProviding education and support to each family and patientAdministering medications, and helping with medical dressingsAdmitting new patients, and planning and coordinating discharges Assisting in post-treatment plans for patients An RN license is required in the state of California to being considered for the SNF Nurse opening with this facility as well as previous experience or practice in an acute-care facility (college graduated encouraged to apply).
