Job Description Our Mail Order Pharmacy Service Specialists assist patients with transition to a mail order prescription drug experience. This role involves making numerous outbound calls daily, discussing the benefits with patients, inviting patients to enroll in this program, and ensuring a smooth transition to the new program. Prepare, count, label, package, and dispense pharmaceuticals for Pharmacist approval. Prepare detailed patient medication profile, fill routine pharmaceutical orders, and package medical prescription in correct container. Maintain equipment by ordering, stocking, and organizing supplies and delivery orders. Interact with the other departments to provide accurately dispensed prescriptions on a schedule according to predetermined delivery times. Calling out and receiving inbound telephone calls regarding program benefits, inquiries and issues Entering and maintaining accurate records in our information system with strong attention to detail Analyzing and solving customer concerns using established policies and procedures Partnering with our in-house pharmacy team to ensure the patient has a positive experience utilizing our mail order services Applying basic office technology such as emails, telephone and instant messaging to communicate Qualifications Alabama Pharmacy Technician License is required High School Diploma or GED required 0-2 years of experience in the health care or pharmacy environment Understanding of and interest in medical terminology desired Be friendly, professional and upbeat with strong telephonic customer service skills Use clear English verbal and written communication, bilingual Spanish a big plus Ability to quickly and accurately organize and manage multiple priorities Basic computer, keyboard and Microsoft office skills Enjoy a team environment with other friendly people!
