A non-profit organization in Saint Petersburg is looking for a Resident Monitors to start ASAP! Overnight Shift Tuesday- Friday 12:00 a.m. - 7:00 a.m.Please email your resume to [Click Here to Email Your Resumé] and type Resident Monitor in the subject lineJOB SUMMARY:Accepts and processes residents staying in residential center e overnight; receives and receipts fees received from residents; monitors the activity of residents on an assigned shift ensuring safety, security and compliance with house rules; maintains accurate and complete records and logs containing pertinent information; ensures that lodge is maintained in a neat and proper order. Monitors the activities of the residential center residents ensuring safety and compliance with house rules; checks the security of all windows and doors; makes periodic rounds of entire facility; records any situations involving incident reports, violations of policy/procedure or other out-of-the-ordinary occurrences on assigned shift. Prepares and distributes meal tickets; distributes towels, linens, and personal hygiene items.Receives, receipts and processes payments for program service fees and updates intake cards as needed; obtains clients signature on forms, including residential center rules and regulations. Walks the perimeter of the property as assigned, directing loiterers and ensuring the security of the facility.Responds to emergencies in a calm manner and initiates appropriate action, including corrective action, in accordance with established policy and procedures. This position requires basic office procedure knowledge and practices of general reports needed for monitoring of the clients. Requires ability to meet attendance requirements and communicate the English language as the primary language. Should have some crises intervention skills. Must meet and maintain eligibility requirements for Level II background check and motor vehicle requirements for the organizations insurance system.MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED:EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:High School Diploma or G.E.D. requiredAnd/orOne year experience performing social and human services to transitional clients.
