Rig Equipment Technician - Haynesville Division

LPLocation: Haynesville DivisionSummary Rig Equipment Technician Level II, Technical services will mainly contribute to implement, operate, and optimize our SAP & Best Standards practices, but will also have accountabilities and responsibilities in other applications. The underlying expectation is that all duties are carried out in compliance with the Company Operational Discipline expectations and HSE requirements.Responsibilities Promotes a Safe and Respectful Work Environment: Proactively promotes and maintains a healthy respect for open and transparent dialogue between all levels of personnel. Carry out mechanical, pneumatic, and hydraulic installation, maintenance, and repair in a safe and prudent manner. Troubleshoot and repair faulty mechanical, pneumatic, and hydraulic equipment and tools. Assist in maintaining and repairs on equipment in another department when needed. Identify and respond to abnormal operating conditions and/or patterns of equipment. Perform CAT III & IV equipment inspection as per Precision Drillings standards, and document findings / results for proper traceability. Ensure that requirements concerning regulatory bodies are met in all cases of equipment repair and installation. Comply with the permit to work and isolation system. Maintain service reports and advise supervisor on condition of equipment and spare parts requirements. Assist in implementing outstanding recommendations from equipment audits, as issued by Clients, Regulatory Authorities or rig management. Assist in ensuring that all third-party equipment is fit for purpose. Inform supervisor and other department heads of any technical problems or limitations that may affect the safe operation of the rig. Ensure that service, maintenance and other operational reports are accurate and complete. Report all incidents, potential hazards or abnormal situations to supervisor. Maintain a safe and organized work area throughout all tasks and on completion of tasks. Apply the Safe Operations Verification card to all jobs and ensure subordinate personnel are aware of their safety role as well as yours. Recognize at-risk behavior or conditions during tasks and call "Time out for safety" when unsure, or when the job does not go as plannedEducation & ExperienceMinimum of 5-10 years of experience diagnosing, repairing and overhauling drilling equipment.High School Diploma or proof of completion of formal education or relevant craft certificate.Skills & CompetenciesExcellent diagnosing and troubleshooting knowledge of Mud Pump, Drawworks and other various equipment on the rigs.Knowledge of technical calculations required for safe operation of the drilling unit and basic computer skills.Work independently under limited supervision.Excellent written and verbal communication puter skills: Microsoft Word & Excel.Reading equipment P&ID and understanding all symbols.Additional RequirementsMust hold a valid driver''s license
