SUMMARY:The Lactation Consultant RN manages the needs and care of the breastfeeding family. Educates women, their partners, families, health professionals, and the community about breastfeeding and human lactation. Provides patient care, treatment, and services within the scope of their license, certification, registration, and/or assessed competencies.
