Using industry guidelines and best practice standards, reviews vendors performance, handle relationships with vendors. Responsible for vendors closed back reports to ensurefollow up and billing vendors work accounts properlyEssential Functions and Responsibilities Includes the Following:1. Understands and adheres to the Hospital Performance Standards, Policies and Behaviors2. Completes charge adjustments and allowances entries on accounts as needed3. Manage relationships with vendor billing contacts and serve as primary point of contact for questions4. Identify key trends and work with internal and external billing teams to resolve issues5. Ensure inquiries from vendors representatives are addressed6. Responsible for close back reports7. Review vendor monthly reconciliation reports8. Draft memos regarding process/procedure updates to vendors as needed9. Collaborate with billing, follow up teams and vendors on the implementation of process improvements10. Lead the development and execution of special projects for the Revenue Cycle team11. Provides training for all vendors in regard to new tools/software/process/procedures12. Document processes and policies for the Revenue Cycle team13. Manage multiple vendors at once14. Lead the planning and coordination of conference calls with vendors15. Audits vendor performance and communicates to leadership findings16. Recodes accounts by insurance carrier and plan number and makes updates in the host system for re-billing purposes17. Assist management in vendor evaluation, performance review and reports as assigned18. Performs all other related duties as assignedEducation & Experience Requirements High School Diploma required. Clerical Experience required. Excellent attention to detail. Ability to work independently with minimal supervision. Advanced use of Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) and internet resources. Previous hospital experience and contract review experience required.
