Job Description

Growing organization is looking for a Financial Analyst within a Corporate Controller''s group to help with their year end close. You would be responsible for assist in the corporate financial close as well as the consolidation of all the entities across the globe. You would be responsible for reviewing and analyzing financial statements, assisting with preparation of corporate segment financial statements, assisting with monthly consolidation of financial results, preparation of the SEC quarterly and annual filings(10-Q and 10-K) and quarterly earnings press release and other ad hoc projects as needed. You would work closely with business units'' financial staff, external reporting, internal and external auditors and other key members of the corporate controller''s group. They are wanting someone to come in and help them thru year end close but this would also be potential for conversion if desired. This is a large and dynamic organization that provides a friendly and collaborative environment. Since they are looking for someone to step in and help them thru year end they are willing to pay above market average. The office location is downtown Chicago but allows flexibility to work remote. Requirements: Bachelor''s Degree in Accounting or Finance 3+ years of related work experience required, including experience with financial statements and reporting. Experience at a large, multi-national, publicly-held corporation or at a public accounting firm strongly preferred. Strong technical skills (Microsoft Office products) required. Hyperion Financial Management (HFM) and SAP experience a plus.
