The firm''s experience is extensive, including work in eight core industries: Energy and Utilities, Financial Services, Healthcare and Life Sciences, Insurance and Reinsurance, Intellectual Property and Technology, Manufacturing and Transportation, Real Estate and Environmental, Tax Exempt Organizations and Charitable Giving.Seeking an experience Real Estate Paralegal for the Miami Location!!!Why join us?Medical Dental Vision 401K Profit Share PTOJob DetailsJob Duties:Draft, prepare and review closing documents, including various forms of mortgage deeds, notes, assignments, releases, affidavits, closing checklists, bills of sale, escrow agreements, side letters, agreements, mortgage modifications, purchase and sale agreements, UCC financing statements, easements, conveyance tax statements, powers of attorney, organizational documents, partnership consents, contract timelines, corporate resolutions and other documents relative to a particular real estate closing.Prepare entity formation documents (including articles of organization, bylaws, consents, stock certificates, tax identification applications, maintenance of minute books) including document drafting and assembly, filing with appropriate authorities and handling other substantive tasks.Draft, prepare and review documents related to the title to the real property, including title objection letters, title insurance commitments, owner and loan title insurance policies and endorsements thereto, and ensure issuance thereof, certificates of title, title reports and legal descriptions.Calculate and pro-rate multiple types of adjustments and closing costs, including preparation of adjustment sheets, buyer''s/seller''s closing statements, closing disclosures, and settlement and loan closing municate with clients, attorneys, bank and title company representatives, surveyors, real estate and insurance agents, etc. to coordinate closing dates and times, title work, UCC searches, and items required for closing.Responsible for processing a real estate closing from the date the firm receives a signed real estate contract to finalizing post-closing paperwork. Will order and do initial review of surveys, condominium estoppels, tax & lien searches, title search, etc. Prepare closing file for closing of transaction, including organizing file, preparation of execution copies of documents and exhibits.Assist and attend real estate closings, including coordinating execution of documents and review thereof for proper execution, and taking acknowledgments.Attend to post-closing matters, including preparation of closing binders, file organization, preparation of documents for recording/filing, coordinate obtaining and providing outstanding closing items.Coordinate and review title work, UCC and lien searches, surveys, site plans and leases and prepare summaries and abstracts.Conduct litigation searches, business name and UCC Financing Statement inquiries and research with the Secretaries of State.Job Requirements:Bachelor''s Degree (with ABA approved paralegal certificate preferred)5-7 years commercial and residential real estate paralegal experience, preferably in a law firm setting, an in-house legal department or title companyTechnical proficiency with WORD, Excel, virtual files, iManage and hot docsTechnical proficiency of real estate software programs (i.e., ATIDS, DisplaySoft or DoubleTme) and strong computer skills.Excellent communication skills, oral and writtenStrong organizational skills and an ability to prioritize and complete simultaneous projects with minimal supervisionExcellent research and analytical skillsEffective interpersonal and team working skills and an ability to communicate effectively with attorneys, professional staff and terested in hearing more?
