Job Summary: The Project Manager will provide supervision for installation of mechanical/HVAC systems, building automation and security access, and general construction trades. The Project Manager will interact with ECS''s Engineering Manager by scheduling engineering, construction trades, and commissioning. They will coordinate field labor and material and perform job site inspections and conduct regularly scheduled job site meetings. They will ensure that clear project scope, intent and definition are conveyed in all team members to properly coordinate constructability and project performance.Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Generating construction schedules and updating of same (MS Project)Reading plans and specifications for the purpose of ordering materialOrder, track and expedite material and equipment for timely delivery to the job siteCommunicate with customerMake manpower projectionsParticipate in WIP meetingsConduct job site inspections and meetingsOther duties assigned Qualifications:The ideal candidate would have minimum of 10-15 years of experience in the Construction industry. Ideally have extensive knowledge in the HVACR industryCommunication skills in dealing with job site issues, engineers and customers are mandatoryExperience in MS Office and Lotus Notes will be helpfulComputer literate and comfortable with spreadsheets, email and project scheduling softwareAnticipate requirements and cost components of Design-Build projectsThis person should be self-motivated, innovative, competent, responsible, proficient, and organizedThis person should be personable and must work well in a team environmentIntrastate travel required.
