Our wide experience in meeting industrial plant maintenance needs enables us to implement systems and processes that keep your facilities and equipment running at consistently optimum levels.Job Title: MillwrightJob Summary: The Millwrights will install and/or maintain machinery and equipment according to layout plans, blueprints, drawings, and written instructions in industrial establishments.Essential Duties and Responsibilities: --Reads blueprints and schematic drawings to determine work procedures; dismantles machines; moves machinery and equipment;assembles and installs equipment, such as shafting, conveyors, pumps, compressors, extruders, turbines and blowers; aligns machines and equipment using reverse alignment method; assembles machines and bolts, welds, rivets or otherwise fastens them to foundation or other structures; may operate engine lathe to grind, file and turn machine parts to dimensional specifications; may repair and lubricate machines and equipment; may be involved in the grouting activity for equipment base plates.Cleans all work areasPerforms any other duties assigned by supervisorPerforms all work in a safe and efficient manner and keeps work area in a clean and orderly condition.Qualifications:Must have 2 years work experience as an industrial millwright or has successfully completed a curriculum closely related to Millwright work from a vocational institution. High School Diploma or GED preferred. The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to use hands to finger, handle or feel; reach with hands and arms; and talk or hear. The employee frequently is required to stand; walk; and stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl. The employee is occasionally required to sit and climb or balance. May be required to lift and/or move up to 10 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 40 pounds.
