Advantage Resourcing is now seeking Medical Data Entry Specialists for a health organization in Abilene, TX! SCHEDULE:• Monday thru Friday - from 8:00am to 5:00pm with the possibility of an occasional weekend shift.PAY: $15.00/hr.This position is temporary and is anticipated to last 6 months. This position could possibly go longer, if funding is extended.JOB DUTIES:• Transcribing data correctly and completely from hard copies into data systems such as Texas Health Trace and VTRAK• Sorting incoming lab work from faxes, emails, and other electronic systems• Calling providers/testing sites to retrieve missing information necessary for COVID reporting• Performing administrative support tasks such as: filing, mailing, faxing or emailing documents and information to clients• Conducting phone interviews, screening and forwarding calls, taking messages and providing basic education and support to callers• Assisting callers with the scheduling of COVID-19 vaccination appointments, verifying appointments, and directing client foot traffic.REQUIREMENTS/QUALIFICATIONS:• Typing 60 wpm and the ability to use computers and other office equipment• Knowledge of google suites, email etiquette, the ability to learn software programming quickly and familiarity with QR codes and completing web-based forms• ability to use the following: laptop, ipads, cell phones, desktop, faxes, printers, and other office equipment• Must be detail-oriented and have excellent organizational, interpersonal, computer & research skills• Fluent English, bilingual a plus• Ability to discreetly and professionally handle confidential information• Some coursework or experience in the healthcare industry preferred If this sounds like YOU, don''t delay - APPLY NOW!
