Position Summary: Supervise Quality Control on a daily basis Problem solve quality issues with Manufacturing Involvement in GFSI system implementation and maintenance Ability to problem solve and make decisions on product quality Maintain a safe work environment Other quality activities as directed by Manager Requirements: High School diploma or equivalent Experience working in a Manufacturing Environment Ability to work in a fast paced environment Understand plant safety guidelines and pass all required safety training Must be able to understand verbal and written instructions Troubleshoot problems and report issues Must work well in team environment Responsibilities of this position include, but are not limited to. Manage Nonconformance system Maintain Calibration system Maintenance of Regulated products conformance in production UN, Dot, Etc. Ensure QC has proper equipment and resources to perform daily functions Maintenance of Color control program Interact with vendors and suppliers as required. Qualifications 2 years experience quality assurance Detailed understanding of Metrology and Statistics (SPC) Understanding of Plastics Injection molding Project Management Skills Basic Computer skills; MS Office Experience in Internal Auditing and Quality Management System
