Job Description

Your tasks Ensures that customers'' cross-functional geographical commercial, operational, and customer service requirements are proactively identified and serviced. Orchestrates the complete service of all commercial aspects of the account while utilizing our product, customer service, and executive leaders. Acts as customer advocate while seeking new business, organic growth opportunities, daily account servicing, service improvement opportunities, cost avoidance elements and overall cost savings. Implements strategies to assist local-global customer attainment of their corporate growth and efficiency objectives. Spear-heads growth opportunities, solution design strategic solutions through great engagement within the customers supply chain, value-add solutions and transformational network designs. Increases Schenker''s revenue and profitability through providing enhanced valued-added serviceTasks & Responsibilities: Expand Value § Provide value-added services to support customer growth objectives and increase Schenker''s revenues. § Constantly seeking cost out and value add opportunities for their customers. Account Manager''s KPI/Success Criteria § The share of the wallet increases faster than the customer''s organic growth Ensure Excellence § Drive the account by providing an innovative and proactive focus on continued improvement Establish Parameters § Set service expectations and measurements to consistently review performance for compliance and improvement. § Set system requirements and drive systems integration between customer and Schenker. Implement Realize all aspects of our customers'' businessIntegrate the business needs of all departments and functional groups within our offered solutions Requirements Essential Functions: * Must be able to pass any federal/state/local government, airport, or company-required background checks, clearances, and/or drug and alcohol tests. Knowledge and Skills (The following minimum requirements are normal guidelines and should not constrain the advancement of otherwise qualified personnel):Details/Specification/Explanation of the role-specific skills Practical experience and knowledge of Formulation and delivery of tactical, operational, and strategic level ocean planning Knowledge of Tango Computer Literate (Office 2000 Suite, PowerPoint, Word, Excel) Exceptional communication skills - highest levels of written English with experience of delivering to senior executive level. Education: 4-year bachelor''s degree (i.e., Business, logistics, or related discipline).
