Test Technician

APR has been engaged to identify a hardworking Test Technician for one of our biggest clients in the manufacturing industry.Location: Irvine, CA 92618Duration: 12 months or longerPay Rate: $18/hr.Shift: 1st shift, M-F, 5:30 AM - 2:00 PM, possible OTSince 1980 APR Consulting, Inc. has provided professional recruiting and contingent workforce solutions to a diverse mix of clients, industries, and skill sets nationwide.One of the leading global manufacturers of machine and hydraulic parts in the Aerospace and Defense industryDUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:Set-up and conduct pressure, leak flow and electrical bench testing on a wide variety of parts, subassemblies and completed units.Work from engineering specifications, sketches and test diagrams.Make all plumbing and electrical connections required completing system set-up.Connect products to be tested to test equipment.Monitor gauges and meters.Verify and record test results.May determine reasons for malfunctioning components or improperly assembled units.Confer with or refer major or critical problems or decisions to lead person and/or plete and maintain proper reports and checklists.Regular attendance required.
