Job Description

The Strategic Account Manager for military will possess extensive account development experience, deep understanding of the military market, agencies (DOD, Client, Missile Defense, etc.), and experience working with defense contractors. The ideal candidate will have experience in technical sales position as well. Candidates will be required to be vaccinated for employment and must be a U.S. Citizen to obtain appropriate security clearances. WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING: Meet or exceed established sales quotas for the assigned brand/market Make outbound sales calls on sales leads and business development Reports - Provide weekly sales reports, forecast, pre/post travel reports, and monthly pipeline funnel Build a strong sales funnel with new targets (prospecting), growth accounts (account development) and account management of existing customers to push year over year growth. WHAT YOU NEED TO SUCCEED: Bachelors Degree and 4+ years of similar experience OR 8+ years of similar experience. Strong interpersonal skills and business acumen with a customer centric focus and urgency to meet strategic objectives. Candidate must have experience working with ITAR programs and be able to navigate military standards.
