Assembler - 1st Shift

PDS Tech Inc. is seeking an Assembler, in Florence SC.Summary: Prepares work to be accomplished by studying assembly instructions, blueprint specifications, and parts lists while resourcing/maintaining parts, subassemblies, tools, and materials.Positions parts and subassemblies by using templates or reading measurements.Non-wiring assembly of components by performing tasks including but not limited to: examining connections for correct fit, fastening parts, applying graphics, kitting, packing, riveting, non-KPC torqueing and subassemblies.Verifies specifications by measuring completed component.Maintains safe and clean working environment by complying with procedures, rules, and regulations.Maintains supplies inventory by checking stock to determine inventory level; anticipating needed supplies; placing and expediting orders for supplies; verifying receipt of supplies.Conserves resources by using equipment and supplies as needed to accomplish job results.Documents actions by completing production and quality forms.Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.Actively participate in daily housekeepingUtilize the ACE 5S principles to promote continuous improvement to Follow all EH&S and quality policies / procedures and plant rules to Attend daily tool box meetings Perform other duties as requested or assigned Minimum Requirements: High school diploma or its equivalent and/or ability to read and follow directions.Able to operate required equipment.Willing to work any shift and overtime as required.Ability to work well under pressure.Must have good communication skills.Must demonstrate safe work practices.
