Incredible Mission Very valued employees Strong talent with a great energy that all want to be there Unbeatable compensation and benefit packages Tons of growth potentialJob DetailsResponsibilities: Manage accounts payable process including reviewing and processing invoices to ensure all reporting is timely, accurate, and in compliance with GAAP and the organization''s policies and procedures Maintain the organization''s accounting system to accurately upload bank activity, credit card activity and account payable information Process intercompany reconciliations of expenses and payments between the organization and its affiliated entities Oversee the general controls of the organization''s books and records, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, credit and collections, and cash management In collaboration with project managers, reconcile draw packages for submission to lenders Enter and review all adjusting journal entries into the financial systems for the annual audit process Participate in the annual budget process including importing budget info into the financial systems, as well as collaborating with project managers to determine investor contributions and developer fee payments on new projects; prepare budget reports as requested Assist with monthly close process. Compile financial reports for the executive team to review Set up new acquisitions in accounting system and assist in acquisition closing reporting Act as a proactive business partner to the Controller by communicating accurate accounting information and assisting with ad hoc reporting requests Support accounting, asset management, and development teams in the analysis, reconciliation, and reporting of financial activity Lead and execute special projects, as needed, including automating, and increasing efficiency of processes, developing training materials, and creating value-add reportsQualifications: Bachelor''s Degree in accounting with at least 3 years of related experience in real estate accounting CPA preferred Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office and Excel, as well as NetSuite and RealPage experience Excellent judgment, attention to detail, accuracy and problem-solving abilities Outstanding time management and organizational skills - ability to multi-task, prioritize work, manage multiple deadlines and track deliverables in a fast-paced environment High energy team player that is a self-starter that can work proactively with limited supervision Strong ethics, integrity, and work ethicInterested in hearing more?
