Incredible Mission Very valued employees Strong talent with a great energy that all want to be there Unbeatable compensation and benefit packagesJob DetailsResponsibilities: Manage preparation of all company financial reports ensuring all reporting is completed timely, accurately, and in compliance with GAAP and company policies and procedures Oversee the general controls of the company''s books and records, including accounts payable and receivable, credit and collections, and cash management; create, implement, and update accounting policies and procedures as needed Reconcile entity level financials and banking transactions for the company and all related sub-entities on a monthly basis; responsible for monthly and year end closing of books Calculate surplus cash calculations and investor distributions; liaise with investors for review and approval; process payments and journal entries as required for cash transfers and distributions Lead and manage corporate and property audit processes Supervise the corporate and property tax return processes and coordinate with tax preparers by providing audited financials and reporting Support accounting, asset management, and other teammates in the analysis, reconciliation, and reporting of all financial activity Serve as a proactive business partner to senior leadership; communicate accounting information and produce strategic financial reporting for corporate decision making Lead and execute a variety of special projects including automating and increasing efficiency of processes, developing training materials, and creating value-add financial reports Assist in software upgrades and improvements of accounting processes and financial reporting packages at the company levelQualifications: Bachelor''s Degree in accounting with at least 10 years of related experience; CPA required Expertise in managing financials at an owner entity coordinating multiple ownership structures, JV structures, or detailed organizational hierarchies is helpful Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office and Excel; expertise in NetSuite and RealPage is helpful Excellent judgment, attention to detail, intuitive interpersonal skills and problem-solving abilities Outstanding time management and organizational skills - ability to multi-task, prioritize work, manage multiple deadlines and track deliverables in a fast-paced environment High energy team player that is a self-starter that can work proactively with limited supervision Effective presentation and communication skills, both verbal and writtenStrong ethics and integrityInterested in hearing more?
