job summary:The Vice President of Development & Innovation for the Americas will serve as Chief Strategist to develop long-term initiatives to lead learning, research, and policy for the Americas in logistics innovation excellence. This Executive Leadership role, will be primarily responsible for building a strong regional innovation community by driving effective engagement of business divisions and commercial stakeholders as well as industry and educational partners to ensure long-term strategic partnerships The Head of of Development & Innovation for the Americas will deliver tangible innovations to all divisions to improve operations, enable growth, and develop new business opportunities through innovations RESPONSIBILITIES: Develop long term global strategies to ensure future grow and impact for the Americas organizationCreate the global roadmap for all relevant sectors and develop client and internal stakeholdersOversee the creation of strategy to engage field experts in ongoing research Increase the visibility of programs across key stakeholder audiences by showcasing and expanding awareness of the company''s capabilities Collaborate on strategic direction to advance brand identityQUALIFICATIONS: Bachelor''s Degree, Master''s Degree preferred, with a strong background in Supply Chain, Consulting, or TechnologyExperience working in start-up environments, creating programs and initiatives that lead to strong commercial outcomes, and identifying business processes requiring improvementExperience motivating global teams to collaborate on strategic direction and advance the brands throughout the AmericasAbility to interface with all levels of an organization and provide compelling value propositions to create new business opportunitiesStrong problem solving skills and the ability to manage complex business challenges and develop and motivate high performance teamsExcellent client facing skillsAbility to manage complexity; adaptability, and strong problem solving skillsExcellent communication and presentation skills and the ability to communicate complex ideas to a variety of audiences.
