job summary:Fast growing, public traded biotech company is looking to add on an Accounting Manager or Senior Accounting Manager. Reports to the Associate Director of Accounting, you will help manage the clinical accounting functions, serve as the group''s business partner, and organize and track clinical costs. location: Menlo Park, Californiajob type: Permanentsalary: $160,000 - 170,000 per yearwork hours: 9 to 5education: Bachelor''s degreeexperience: 7 Years responsibilities:Responsibilities: Execute month-end close activities including journal entries, balance sheet reconciliations and monthly trend analysisManage the financial close for clinical related activities in accordance with GAAP to ensure the accuracy and integrity of financial dataMonitor the performance of R&D service providers, clinical trial activity and costsCreate and manage patient visit forecast models for multiple clinical trialsReview invoices to ensure expenses are accurately recorded into the accounting systemHelp prepare quarterly reviews and year-end auditsContinually drive process improvements for greater efficiency and timelinessDevelop, coach, and manage one accounting staff memberDevelop and maintain working relationships across Clinical Operations and FP&A teams qualifications:Requirements: BS degree 7 years of public accounting or related experience Experience with biotech or pharmaceutical industry a plus CPA a plus but not required skills: General LedgerFor certain assignments, Covid-19 vaccination and/or testing may be required by Randstad''s client or applicable federal mandate, subject to approved medical or religious accommodations.
