PROCESS IMPROVEMENT ENGINEER

RESPONSIBILITIES: Responsible for driving process improvements and optimization, troubleshooting, process analysis, efficiency studies, and support of plant projects to achieve site goals. Analyzes, identifies, and improves processes to increase efficiency and operability. Analyzes, evaluates, and recommends process improvements related to debottlenecking to ensure customer demands and changing needs are met. Performs technical troubleshooting of processes to determine and recommend appropriate improvements. Performs/manages process-oriented projects as assigned. Examples include construction, management of change, technical, and Process Hazard Analysis/Environmental, Health and Safety reviews. Assists in Hazards and Operability Study reviews. Provides direction to engineering and contractor groups for specific plant projects in order to maintain the plant''s buildings, grounds, utilities, environmental and production equipment at the optimum level needed to provide safe, efficient, and uninterrupted service.
