Together, we are embarking on a journey where each and every one of us, individually and collectively, welcomes and celebrates individual differences.The Commercial Operations & Excellence Leader will partner with the Regional Managing Director and regional leadership of the Americas to lead and direct all Commercial Operations activities to generate profitable orders and revenue growth in Electrification Installation Products.Reporting to Country Managing Director, the role will develop key metrics to determine the region''s addressable market and the key strategies to measure performance. This position is responsible for leading simplification efforts focused on making commercial processes streamlined and efficient both internally and externally to empower the sales team to act fast and be more customer-centric.Ideal candidates will be based in Memphis, TN however; we will consider a remote optionYour responsibilitiesDevelop, oversee, and administer the orders and revenue forecast by driving key performance metrics and dashboards that help the sales organization focus on growth Establish and implement effective analysis of sales force trends and performance to identify greater efficiencies by focused analytics on funnel, opportunities, backlog and other key commercial metrics Leads incentive plan (VID) design for IP, coordinating closely with FES, and coordinates effective communication with finance teamManage team responsible for commercial contract management for the region Partner with regional sales & marketing to effectively support promotional campaigns to drive sales, as well as development and governance of MSA''s.Ensure processes established to proactively identify and manage risks relating to MSAs across customers/channelsBe aware of all terms & condition changes/policy deviations/concessions and ensure compliance in accordance with governance guidelines.Partner with global cross-functional teams to identify opportunities to simplify the commercial process by leveraging the company''s systems and tools to optimize and automate existing processes Enhance sales enablement tools to improve commercial efficiency (e.g. quoting and contract automation, product & pricing FAQ''s, approval templates, etc.) to make it easy to do business - Support business scalability by leading ongoing simplification initiatives and standardization of global processes through global best practice sharing Your backgroundBachelor''s Degree with 10+ years'' work experience in sales, sales operations, marketing, or related disciplineDetailed understanding of sales processes, sales reporting including sales forecasting, sales force automation and territory planning & managementProven experience in contract development and management, creating and managing both strategic and tactical contracts with both distributors and end users coupled with ability to influence change across organizations and garner support to continually streamline and improve inefficiencies that impact the deal management processStrong communication accustomed to working at all levels of management while managing project, strategic, and financial prioritiesDemonstrated experience with operations readiness initiatives at a leadership level and strong discipline in financial management and budgets, highly effective critical decision-making skills both on people and in the businessStrong managerial skills, including hiring, effective training, skills and goals development, and career growth planning.Must be positive, proactive, enthusiastic and self-starter; able to effectively work as part of a team with proven ability to problem-solve, multitask, and manage time effectivelyResults-focused with a track record of consistent achievementProficiency in MS Office Suite, particularly Excel, PPT and other sales or business planning -related tools (SAP, Salesforce, etc.)Flexibility to work early and late hours to collaborate with global team members.
