Together, we are embarking on a journey where each and every one of us, individually and collectively, welcomes and celebrates individual differences.As a Continuous Improvement Specialist, you will be establishing and maintaining a continuous improvement culture in ABB, utilizing Lean Six Sigma methodology, and creating transparency to monitor progress.Reporting to the Quality Manager, you will be responsible for developing the plans to support progression through the DPS levels of maturity as well as seeing and identifying variance to the plan. The position must be able to communicate the vision, set standards, coach, train and be a skilled partner to leaders in operation and support functions.Your responsibilitiesMajor player in developing the multi-level Performance System roadmap and deploymentPartnering with the site leader is jointly responsible for the DPS progression for the Site and responsible for assessing Site maturity readiness for level 4 certification across both operations and other functional areas with Site leadership teamResponsible for ensuring that DPS maturity has direct impact on business results. Supports the execution of the vital few strategic priorities (including Inventory focus, Margin Expansion, DPS maturity) - working closely with the Site Leader and the rest of the site leadership teamBuilding systemic DPS capability across the site leadership (cross-functional) and accountable for capability building across the different layers within the Site (using learning and development plans)Especially supporting Site Leader, Site Operations Leader, Site HR Leader through coaching, advising and trainingResponsible for capturing leading best practices from across ABB, and industry by sharing and applying at the siteDirect line facilitating teams to be deploy for Kaizen projects and directly leading significant projectsYour backgroundAssociate degree (technical degree preferred) and minimum 10 years of lean/Six Sigma experience in a high paced manufacturing setting ORBachelor''s degree (technical degree preferred) and minimum 8 years of lean/Six Sigma experience in a high paced manufacturing settingExperience in systemic continual improvement processes including deploying ContinualImprovement/Operational Excellence systems and has lead teams through multiple stages of maturityCandidates must already have a work authorization that would permit them to work for ABB in the USBenefitsRetirement planLife insuranceDisability insuranceMedical insuranceWellbeing programMore about usABB Drive Products is a technology leader serving industries, infrastructure and machine builders with world-class drives and softstarters.
