The US Marketing Application Analyst is accountable for providing technical-based systems support to our Marketing and Pricing organization. Primary responsibility is to ensure excellent customer service through the application of customer support skills, business, and technical knowledge to triage, diagnose, troubleshoot, and escalate or resolve vendor software, as well as in-house developed application, configurations, processes, interfaces, and add-on application issues. Additional key responsibilities to perform analysis of existing application protocols and software tools, recommendations for improved procedures and policies, assistance to users in using and interpreting software tools and products, support in achieving departmental goals and objectives, ensure compliance of all security measures in application development processes. This position provides a great opportunity for building relationships and networking across various businesses, IT organizations and understanding how US Marketing delivers value to the organization. Basic/Required:• Legally authorized to work in the job posting country• Bachelor''s Degree or higher• 3 or more years direct experience with Information Technology infrastructure and application knowledge/experience• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and data management, including gathering and interpreting data from separate systems• Work day-to-day directly with Marketing and Pricing Business team in order to support various pricing application• Basic knowledge of database SQL languages• Basic or advanced knowledge of System Architecture related to Cloud infrastructure• Ability/Willingness to provide day to day 24/7 application support• Commitment to excellence in customer service• Understanding business processes end-to-end, actively measuring business contribution of enabling systems (functional business system measures) and initiating improvement to the process and/or systems• Identifying business unit demand for services and resources, provide input to and collaborate with IT service groups to meet that demandPreferred:• Bachelor''s Degree or higher in Information Technology or Computer Sciences or IT related field• 3 or more years of knowledge of SAP S/4HANA, SAP R/3, SAP BW, Fiori, Business Workflow, Alteryx, Tableau• 2 or more years of experience in a Marketing, Pricing, Commercial, Midstream operations• 2 or more years of experience in internal and external auditing and SOX auditing and DR work coordination• Experience providing system support for pricing applications such as the PROS software offerings• Proven experience with the oil and gas industry• Able to work independently, strong analytical and problem-solving skills• Ability to translate business requirements into technical requirements; manage enhancement/break-fix requests into our support pipeline• Proven ability to build and maintain relationships with IT and business leaders• Ability to initiate tasks and demonstrate innovative behavior• Deep analytical and technical experience in IT application support; expertise using relational databases• Strong interpersonal skills• Change management skills• Strong planning/organizing skills, ability to multi-task• Focus on commitments and delivering results• Demonstrated ability to influence and deliver results through others• Leadership: Ability to work independently and under time constraints• Teamwork: Ability to work cross-functionally and within a matrix organization• Analytical tools: Understanding of Tableau and Alteryx and pivot table platforms About Advantage Resourcing Advantage Resourcing is committed to providing equal employment opportunity for all persons regardless of race, color, religion (including religious dress and grooming practices), sex, sexual orientation, gender, gender identity, gender expression, age, marital status, national origin, ancestry, citizenship status, pregnancy, medical condition, genetic information, mental and physical disability, political affiliation, union membership, status as a parent, military or veteran status or other non-merit based factors.
