Will also be responsible for improving quality, safety, productivity and overall performance.Your responsibilitiesFostering a culture where safety is priority and procedures and policies are followedMust be representative of management that portrays a professional attitude and supports the Baldor goals and objectivesProvide leadership, direction, training and administration of anyone assigned to their departmentOperate in compliance with OSHA and MSDS StandardsMust have high expectations for all employees and be consistent in all employee relation matters while not accepting poor performance in any areaMust work with all other departments, supervisors, and managers to solve problems and accomplish plant goalsApply sound communication and motivational techniques in supervising, counseling, and discipline direct reportsEnforce general handbook policies fairly and consistentlyYour backgroundHigh School Diploma or GED and minimum 4 years of manufacturing experience ORAssociates degree and minimum 2 years of manufacturing experience ORBachelor''s DegreeCandidate must be able to supervise employees while achieving all daily production goalsWorking knowledge of Microsoft Word, Outlook, Excel and CNC preferredStrong organizational skills and the ability to work with minimum supervision and Understand manufacturing concepts, processes and Flex-Flow and Lean conceptsCandidates must already have a work authorization that would permit them to work for ABB in the USBenefitsRetirement planLife insuranceDisability insuranceMedical insuranceWellbeing programMore about usABB''s NEMA Motors Division markets, designs and manufactures the market-leading Baldor-Reliance® brand of industrial motors.
