As a 2 nd shift laser operator, you prefer not to work mornings. You have a great attention to detail and are skilled at problem solving to ensure the laser cutting machines are set up and operating correctly, taking pride in the important role you play in making certain the parts produced meet quality expectations. Some of the important things you will do... Understand Machine setup including program retrieval, proper gases, proper nozzles, and materials. Operate machine to produce parts per specification. Understand startup and proper shut down of the machine. Diagnose machine problems while performing jobs and make corrections as needed. Operate Lift trucks to load and unload materials. You can read calipers and use hand tools. Monitor quality of cutting condition and adjust as needed. Maintain safe operations by adhering to safety procedures. Perform Operator maintenance per established schedules. (you know, the rules) Report quantities produced into ERP system. Maintain a clean and organized work area. Must haves.... High school diploma or equivalent Good computer skills. (easy-peasy) Ability to read and follow instructions 2+ years'' experience with Laser machines (not quire there yet? Still apply!) Experience working in a Manufacturing environment Experience operating lift trucks It''s a plus... If you have Metal fabrication experience. Who We Are...
