The Case Maker Operator is responsible for running equipment to produce cases for finishing of our client''s books. "‹Read job ticket and print out template for case makingSet up and operate machine that glues cover material to boards to make book coversMake mechanical adjustments to machine to accommodate varying case sizesEnsure quality by continuously monitoring squareness of case, size of turn-ins, show on case (three pieces) and backspaceContinuously control product waste by monitoring downtime, glue consistency and case qualityEnsure the case making general worker is made aware of quality standardsEnsure that each person in the crew is performing jobs properly in a safe and efficient manner and is capable of performing the duties of peers and counterpartsMaintain proper records including downtime and job report "‹Mechanical aptitude Previous Case Maker experience preferredAble to work all shifts and overtime as requiredGood interpersonal and leadership skillsCJK Group is an Equal Opportunity/Affirmative Action employer.
