Billing Specialist (New York) About the Firm: CFS of New York is working exclusively with a global mid-sized law firm and they are looking to add a Billing Specialist to their team. The firm is located Downtown Manhattan in a beautiful office space and this role will be in office full time starting in November Responsibilities of the Billing Specialist include: The Billing Specialist is responsible for all aspects of drafting and finalizing client bills. Collaborate with the partners, legal secretaries, and others, to ensure timely billing and collection Monitor unbilled time; generate proformas; generate draft bills; confirm bills conform to billing arrangements; and perform manual calculations Prepare write-up/write-down forms and obtain approvals Prepare bill reports, fee and disbursement summary, and prepare final bill Communicate with clients to resolve billing/collection issues Qualifications of the Billing Specialist should include: 2+ years relevant legal billing experience; open to size of the firm Experience with Aderant, Elite or another billing systems Strong Excel skills and Computer savvy Please feel free to contact Lisa Pantoja, Executive Recruiter, at [Click Here to Email Your Resumé] to learn about this or other opportunities
