Job Description:FDCO OverviewThe below FDCO description should be prefixed in all job descriptions:The Fixed Income, Currency and Commodities (FICC) & Derivative Core Operations (FDCO) team perform end to end trade control, confirmation and settlements processes across FICC businesses and provides utility OTC derivative confirmation and settlement services for non FICC businesses.Within FDCO, the teams provide multiple services such as FICC trade control, Foreign Exchange (FX) electronic matching and settlement, Over the Counter (OTC) derivative confirmation and settlement, and commodities operations.Job DescriptionAn exciting opportunity to join the GFX Operations Platinum and Gold Client Service Team.The role entails responsibility for providing dedicated support to the bank''s top tier clients in a challenging and fast paced environment. Manage sustained proficiency of complete, accurate and timely processes, responsibility for the investigation and resolution of exceptions to the confirmation and settlement of Foreign Exchange transactions as well as post trade settlement investigation. Payment verification may also be required. Communication by phone and email is required while providing exceptional customer service to both client and internal service partners.ResponsibilitiesInvolvement in strategy working groups to support strategies and process improvement efforts. Engagement with global team to collaborate to deliver idea generation and process enhancement, with a view to continually improve service levels and design model. Requirements• Self-motivated individual who is an active and collaborative team member.• Continuous learner with the desire to succeed and grow to become a subject matter expert.• Ability to develop and maintain strong relationships with clients.• Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize and manage workload through fluctuating volume periods; ability to multi task whilst managing competing priorities and deliveries.• Excellent attention to detail, consistent performer with a focus on accuracy and client delight.
