POSITION SUMMARY: Performs engineering work in applied research, design, development, testing, manufacturing, and documentation of products or systems. Uses research techniques to analyze and validate design or theory concepts. RESPONSIBILITIES: Responsible to support Engineering efforts in the design and analysis of systems, products, and subsystems/circuits to specification, cost, budget, schedule, and quality goals Assist Development Engineers in diagnosing issues with design, field performance, reliability and test yields of products and recommends/implements corrective actions to address Responsible to support Engineering efforts related to various programs or projects and the corresponding administrative documentation and paperwork Follows key engineering procedures including the Product Development Process and ECO process Estimates manufacturing costs, determines time standards, and makes recommendations for tooling and process requirements of new or existing product lines Takes a leadership role in driving Continuous Improvement Projects to elevate product performance in manufacturing Implements manufacturing-industry best known methods in support of Continuous Improvement Projects to increase efficiency and effectivity of Productions Analyzes work content for distribution to workcenters and capacity requirements Recommends and prepares changes, additions, and modifications which will facilitate manufacturing Performs an integral role on Product Design teams to drive designs that meet all cost and quality goals Reviews product requirements with design staff to ensure compatibility of processing methods Supports Design for Manufacturability analysis on new products WORK ENVIRONMENT: Occasional travel may be required to remote sites, customers and vendors Standard office environment utilizing standard office equipment, a noisy fast-paced lab, and/or clean room 95% of the time QUALIFICATIONS: Ability to follow standard practices and procedures in analyzing situations or data from which answers can be obtained Ability to apply company policies and procedures to solve routine issues Ability to function within environment where detailed instructions on routine work and new projects or assignments are received EXPERIENCE: Minimum 5+ years experience in manufacturing engineering/process engineering EDUCATION: Bachelors degree in Engineering/Science or similar BENEFITS: As part of our total rewards philosophy, we believe in offering and maintaining competitive compensation and benefits programs for our employees to attract and retain a talented, highly engaged workforce."¯ Our compensation programs are focused on equitable, fair pay practices including market-based base pay, an annual pay-for-performance incentive plan, and discounted Employee Stock Purchase Plan."¯ In addition to our competitive compensation practices, we offer a strong benefits package in each of the countries in which we operate.
