CNC Machinist

''No 3rd party resumes please'' Job Description Using your experience, set up and prove out programs on 4 or 5 axis cnc milling machines and machining centers to machine complex parts from various metals and composites to meet the tight tolerances required in the aerospace and defense industries. Shift 2nd Shift (Monday-Thursday 12 hour shifts starting at 5 p.m. with additional overtime on Friday) Responsibilities Work from routed instructions, manufacturing process plans, blue prints and verbal instructions under moderate supervision. Plan and make set-ups using needed tools for the cnc program per the set-up sheet. Use a variety of hand held measuring instruments. May write programs at the machine. Download and upload programs at the machine. Completes accompanying routers as operations are successfully finished before moving. Qualifications Minimum of a high school diploma or equivalent, preferably in a high school career machine trades program. Minimum four years'' related experience in a job shop working on non-production parts. G&M coding experience. Ability to read blue prints and working knowledge of GD&T. Mechanical and spatial aptitude. Must have own tools. EOEM/F/D/V
