This company has been a leader in luxury home building for the past 6 years Owners are pioneers in the 12th South area This company builds an average of 40-50 luxury homes a year Overview of the Accounts Payable Clerk Role: Calculate, post business transactions, process invoices, and verify financial data for use in maintaining accounts payable records Verify invoice accuracy Obtain proper information and/or data regarding invoice payments Verify and calculate all extensions and totals on invoices (calculating and taking discounts when applicable) Assemble invoices and requisitions for satisfactory payment approval Check vendor files for any previous payments Maintain copies of invoices or correspondence necessary for files Prepare reports listing invoice number, date, vendor data, item description, costs, and proper coding per accounting policies and procedures Generate periodic reports and other records Reconcile credit card statements Maintain records of all payments and expenditures Reconcile processed work by verifying entries and comparing system reports to balances Produce monthly reports based on continual analysis of accounts Preferred Experience of the Accounts Payable Clerk: 2 years or more of Construction AP experience
