We are looking for an experienced and motivated individual to fill the position of Project Control Specialist based in Denver, CO. This person will collaborate with the Program and Project management team to Plan, Execute, Monitor and Control Capital Development Programs across the projects life cycle; as well as to ensure capital & time to market execution is in alignment with the Business Unit strategic plans.Responsibilities Gather, Review, Analyze and Report cost data & trends for Key Capital Development programs. Maintain capital execution tracking model (Curves). Produce Monthly presentation to business unit leadership team for Cost, Schedule, Risk and Predictability Indicators. Facilitate, Collaborate and in some cases Chair regular Program and Project Status meeting (i.e. project review, status and performance discussions) Control Project Budget vs. AFE as well as to provide early notification of potential deviations. Collaborate on AFE proposal reviews using industry practices like The Evaluation of Capital Risk and Contingency validation using Monte Carlo Simulation The "Project Evaluation and Review Technique" to determine schedule risks The "Project Definition Rating Index" for risk identification and scope readiness levels Maintain existing Key Performance Indicators tracking records as well as to promote the implementation of new metrics or KPIs with the intent to identify and prevent deviation from agreed deliverables. Regular interaction with Contractors and Project Teams to bring synergy on Program decisions/approaches Maintain Level 1 Milestone schedule for Projects under execution Regular review / assessment of Engineering & Construction schedules & performance using Primavera P6 Promote the continued work on critical path elements and facilitate communication with decision making levels across the organization Monitor and Promote early decision making related to Long Lead Equipment and Critical Material Management Provide guidance and verification on monthly value of work (VOW) calculation, and accruals definition. Promote, implement and enhance existing project management practices & project control systems
