Responsibilities: Complete General Ledger entries and reassess past work to ensure accuracy Ensures transactions are properly and accurately reported Proactively recommends policies and procedures to maintain accounting controls Assist with monthly close Prepares financial reports as needed Other duties as assigned Preferred Background: Bachelor''s Degree in Accounting or Finance preferred Proficiency in Excel, ability to work with large data set 2+ years of experience in Accounting Strong understanding of GAAP Excellent communication skills Timing is everything.
