Contracts Specialist

A growing, fast paced educational institution downtown is looking to add a Contracts Specialist to their team!The Contracts Specialist will work with a team of two others and report to the Manager of Contracts and Business Services.The Contracts Specialist role can be fully remote once trained!Contracts Specialist Duties:- responsible for reviewing and negotiating contracts for goods and services - communicate with vendors and contractors- the department handles dozens of contracts per weekContracts Specialist Skills & Experience:- familiar with contract terms- comfortable negotiating with vendors- 3+ years of similar experience- excellent communication skills- professional and friendly- proficient with MS OfficeHours for the Contracts Specialist are Monday through Friday, 8:00 - 5:00 (with flexibility) in a business-casual environment (when in the office)Contracts Specialist candidates must be able to pass a criminal background check.cfs2021
