Civil, Structural & Architectural Construction ManagerLocation: Austin, TXContract: 3 months (plus) Job Description 5-10+ years of experience managing construction projects in manufacturing/industrial environments - PM Role Ability to evaluate drawings, create biddable work packages and validate contractor bids against cost/schedule estimates Evaluate, negotiate and process change orders, submittals and RFIs 5-10+ years of experience driving the execution of construction projects in manufacturing/industrial environments - Super Role Ability to evaluate multidisciplinary drawings and coordinate cross functionality to ensure on-time execution Evaluate and develop fragnet schedules to aid in accelerated completions Requires providing clear, concise direction to trades helping prioritize efficient build-out Requires coordinating trades to sequence work adequately Understands interdependent utility integration, e.g., completed wet-mech systems include installed, wired and calibrated devices Experience with equipment rigging installation, startup and utility qualification Familiar with code compliance and building occupancy Candidate Qualities: Hard working problem solver able to work autonomously Organized and detail oriented Confident in decision making ability and coordinating among key stakeholders Project will require long hours, looking for ambitious and tenacious team members Scope Familiarity: Wet Mechanical (piping) Dry Mechanical (ductwork) Process (piping and instruments) Life Safety (fire suppression and alarm) Duration Available immediately 3-6 months, open to extension based on performance Schedule 6-days a week @ 10-hours per day Willing to work additional weekends and holidays No known travel involved About Advantage Resourcing Advantage Resourcing is committed to providing equal employment opportunity for all persons regardless of race, color, religion (including religious dress and grooming practices), sex, sexual orientation, gender, gender identity, gender expression, age, marital status, national origin, ancestry, citizenship status, pregnancy, medical condition, genetic information, mental and physical disability, political affiliation, union membership, status as a parent, military or veteran status or other non-merit based factors.
