Essential Duties and Responsibilities Follows and supports project safety, quality, cost, scheduling and code of conduct, and ethics policies and procedures Independently inspects major systems, identifies problems with system operations, and performs complex troubleshooting Can operate and repair major HVAC equipment and systems, and can implement corrective actions as needed Can independently operate a wide variety of HVAC testing equipment and has solid experience with operations and maintenance of 4-pipe AHUs, VAV and fan coil boxes, split DX systems, pneumatic and DDC controls, and their components Can perform this work independently and perform duties of a more specialized nature that frequently requires independent analysis and decision-making Ensures maintenance and system information logs are completed according to prescribed schedules and project record-keeping requirements Education/Certifications Associates degree from 2-year accredited college or technical school or equivalent experience preferred EPA 608 Certification required CFC certification required Required Knowledge/Experience Demonstrates the ability to read and understand mechanical, electrical, and equipment drawings, as well as the sequence of operations Five (5) years'' work experience maintaining and operating HVAC and other equipment in an industrial, commercial, or manufacturing environment required - 8 years experience is preferred Good working knowledge of the design, operation, and maintenance of chilled water and hot water systems Familiarity with BMS systems such as Metasys, Insight, Tracer Summit, Honeywell, and ALC 20/20 Knowledge of repairs required and maintenance of communication bus (N2 and BacNet) Familiarity with the purpose of Variable Frequency Drives (VFDs) in HVAC operations, able to visually confirm whether a VFD is operating, the status of operations, and able to transfer a program from one VFD to another Experience with complex refrigeration systems such as Mitsubishi, Fujitsu, and Liebert Experience in (VRF) refrigeration systems Be able to diagnose up to 60hp motors CBHKA Enterprises is a global workforce solutions firm.
