Critical Care Float Registered Nurse

Required: • CA License • First to float to other units outside of the critical care units • Will care for all age ranges and levels of acuity • BLS • PALS • 2 years of PICU/CVPICU experience • Previous peds ICU Float Pool Experience • Experience: Ventilators, trachs, multiple monitoring skills, specifically CVP and EKG. Preferred: • Level 1 trauma • BSN • Travel experience • Childrens and teaching hospital experience • EPIC experience. Shifts: 48/48 variable or nights (4 weekend shifts sat-sun on day shift and then 5 shifts of fri-sat nights - traveler gets off one full weekend every 4 week schedule) Requested Time Off: Max 3 days (Must be able to get in all 4 shifts in a week) Must work 2 of the 3 Holidays (Thanksgiving, Christmas, New Years) Patient Population: High acuity unit seeing injury, respiratory failure, shock, multi system failure, poisonings, near drowning, meningitis, post op cardiac surgical care, **neurosurgery. Trauma, hem onc, DKA if PH or altered consciousness Shift Info: Night (12 Hours) 19:00 7:00 / Day (12 Hours) 7:00 19:00
