*Billing Specialist I

This role will start out as fully remote until January 2022, then will likely be two days in office, and three days working from home. Primary responsibilities include: Submitting electronic claims to commercial and government payers Working with pharmacy operations staff, prescriber offices, 3 rd party payers, patients and/or their responsible parties and claim processors Experience required: 1 year of performing healthcare reimbursement, medical insurance/billing experience 1 year working with healthcare reimbursement systems experience Working knowledge of medical terminology Customer service skills MS Word, Excel and Outlook Education: High School Diploma or GED equivalent What''s in it for you?
