Billing Specialist

Do you have professional billing experience? Are you a critical thinker that can think on your feet and work with complex billing situations? This role could be for you. Our law firm client is seeking a billing specialist to add to their 3-person team, while that team is pulled into a software upgrade project. Legal billing can be quite complex, so initiative, flexibility and a drive to think outside of traditional billing is key to success in this role! Primary Responsibilities: Rotational responsibility/assistance with bi-monthly time cutoff, generating proformas and client invoices Responsible for assigned client exceptions & E-Billed clients Assist with special billing reports as requested by clients and firm personnel Back-up deposit and disbursement administration of client retainer/trust accounting Assist firm employees and clients with billing related problems and questions Cash receipt application and check deposits knowledge for back-up This will be a year long project, to start ASAP, so if you are looking for long term potential, this is definitely the role for you! The role will be 100% in office, our client is located downtown off 5th street, and parking is not paid for by the firm.
