As a Team Lead for our Maintenance & Turnaround Systems Support team you will lead the team that provides user and application support for Valero''s core plant maintenance, reliability, and turnaround functions. The key applications are SAP Plant Maintenance (PM) and SAP Master Data Governance (MDG), but it also includes an ecosystem of integrated software, mobile devices, and proprietary solutions - both on premises and in the cloud - that keep our plants running. You will help improve business processes, maintain a safe work environment, and maximize production uptime across 15 refineries, 14 renewable energy plants, pipelines & terminals, and our green diesel facilities. You can help achieve this goal if you can : Lead, develop, and supervise a team. Perform analysis on complex business processes and recommend simplified, quality solutions to meet business objectives. Deploy new solutions and enhancements/fixes to the Refining business by troubleshooting, problem solving, interacting with end-users, training, defining system scope, configuration, testing, etc. Collaborate across the organization and with outside parties to deliver solutions. Meet milestones and related effort/time commitments for assigned deliverables. This position is salaried exempt status, which means you are not eligible for overtime pay.QualificationsSuccessful candidates will have (required) : A bachelor''s degree (or higher) or foreign equivalent degree in Computer Science, MIS, Engineering, Information Technology or related field. 10 years of experience in configuring, implementing, and/or supporting SAP Plant Maintenance/Enterprise Asset Management (EAM). The most competitive candidates will have (preferred) : Experience with MDG Equipment Management. Experience with SQL Queries and Databases. Experience with SAP S4 HANA. Refinery industry or related business/IT knowledge in enterprise asset management. Experience with SAP PM/MM touch points and integration of SAP and non-SAP components. Experience developing and managing PM system reliability analytics and metrics. Experience developing a high-powered team to meet the demands of the Routine Maintenance Best Practices Business group.
