A significant part of this commitment isensuring that bereavement support is offered when maternal patients and their families have experienced a loss.The Perinatal Bereavement Coordinator has the primary responsibilities of overseeing all grief and bereavementsupport offered to Women''s Services patients and their families (or support systems) who experience a loss at anystage of gestation through the first year of life and will be responsible for working with key stakeholders throughout thesystem to create and implement a robust Perinatal Bereavement Program, in consultation with the Executive Directorof Spiritual Health and the AVP of Women''s Health Service Line.
