Job Description:This Senior Business Control Specialist position supports the Rewards Intake Management - Quality Assurance process to document, socialize, and approve new and existing card reward programs, strategies, and promotions. This process is critical to the success of Consumer Card Rewards programs and requires concise and clear communication to all concerned areas. This individual is responsible for preparing and hosting the Rewards Strategy Forum that spans multiple business areas and levels of management. Responsibilities also include a review of applicable collateral associated with each effort, ensuring a consistent and accurate message in all channels and adherence to Rewards processes. Additional control ownership is to ensure the setup and control development processes are completed per the approved intake forms.This position requires collaboration with multiple lines of business and strong communication skills. An overall subject matter expertise must be built across the end-to-end process, including understanding rewards system set up, governance requirements, and liaisons with our critical Op Risk partners.Core responsibilities include:Ability to work with change managers to clearly document the impacts of each initiative.Continually review the governance process and process documentation for improvements and complete necessary updatesSupport the overall Rewards Quality team as needed by providing expertise of rewards offersTake ownership of individual programs end-to-endRequired Skills:Strong attention to detail with the ability to prioritize multiple concurrent initiativesKnowledge of Card Reward programs and setup (Consumer and Small Business)Proven leadership and strong problem solving skillsAbility to analyze data and influence cross-functional teams and/or senior management and suggest process changes and improvementsControl background and process-oriented experienceAbility to work efficiently both in a team environment and independentlyExcel, PowerPoint, and SharePoint experienceDesired Skills: Bachelor degree in Finance or BusinessAbility and willingness to educate othersEnterprise Role Description:Provide analytical support in executing internal control discipline and operational excellence within a LOB/ECF. Gather and organize data in order to monitor and test the effectiveness of key controls and status of mitigation and action plans. Prepare documentation for the tracking, monitoring, and escalation of risk related issues to management. Acts as an ambassador of the risk culture. Incumbents typically have over 5+ years of risk management and/or LOB/ECF experience.
