Senior Materials Planner

This is a Full Time/Permanent position and the client is looking for someone to start immediately.Duration: Full TimeLocation: Fremont Area, CARole: Senior Materials PlannerPrimary Skills: Supply Chain Management (SCM)Role Description: The Senior Materials Planner must have at least 4-5 years of experience. For this role, you must also have 2-3 years of supply chain experience with focus on material and inventory management. Qualifications:- 4-5 years of experience- Demand Manager- Forecast Planner/ Analyst- Aftermarket materials manager- It should be in Hi-tech industryResponsibilities:- Successfully execute and manage day to day spares planning activities for global data center locations utilizing internal tools and data analysis to drive decisions and take action. Includes working with sourcing team for orders, shipments, tracking, etc.- Manage any material related network break-fix activities to ensure timely equipment repair.- Identify any material shortages for break-fix activities, develop and implement recovery plan and communicate to data center sites.- Help manage and coordinate supplier RMAs from data center sites, as required.- Consolidate information and provide updates to stakeholders as needed, provide data and analysis to support strategic spares planning activities- Collaborate with warehouse and transportation teams to ensure successful delivery.- Maintain and execute inventory replenishment model.- Maximize inventory efficiency and reconcile inventory discrepancy when needed.Required Experience and Skills:- 2+ years of supply chain experience, with focus on material planning.- 2+ inventory management experience. - Experience with tableau and data analysis tools a plus- Bachelor''s Degree in Supply Chain or equivalent experience - 2-3 years of supply chain experience with focus on material and inventory managementEducation: Bachelor''s degree in Computer Science, Electrical/Electronic Engineering, Information Technology or another related field or Equivalent Experience: Minimum 5+ yearsRelocation: This position will not cover relocation expensesTravel: NoLocal Preferred: YesNote: Must be able to work on a W2 basis Recruiter Name: Dhananjay SainiRecruiter Phone: 877.884.8834 (Ext: 2150) or 810-673-7629Equal Employment Opportunity
